All of the latest transfer news and rumors from Anfield as Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp aims to welcome new faces to Merseyside with the Reds having already completed one signing so far this summer
With the 2022 summer transfer window having only been open for a short period of time, Liverpool look likely to have completed one of the biggest deals of the market already.
The Reds have secured what could potentially be a club record transfer for the signing of Benfica forward Darwin Nunez. The Uruguayan has penned a six-year deal with the Merseyside outfit.
The business doesn’t likely to end there though with a number of players continuing to be linked with following Nunez through the door, whilst a few of Jurgen Klopp’s squad have been rumored to be on the way out.
With all of that being said, take a look at the latest transfer news and rumors coming out of Anfield on Thursday morning.
Liverpool make big-money Bellingham bid
Whilst the Reds have forked out a considerable amount for Nunez, they are apparently attempting to follow that-up with an offer for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham. According to Cadena Ser, Liverpool have offered € 100m (£ 85.7m) for the England star in an effort to secure his services.
Despite holding a strong interesr in Bellingham, it seems unlikely that they would be able to secure his services this time around at the very least. According to the reports, Real Madrid are firmly in the running for the former Birmingham City man, whilst Dortmund are determined not to sell this summer having already allowed star striker Erling Haaland to join Manchester City.

Sadio Mane ‘agrees to personal terms’ with Bayern Munich
And with Liverpool said to be attempting to bring Bellingham in from the Bundesliga, one of their current crop could well be making the opposite switch. Sadio Mane has already indicated his desire to leave Anfield this summer with just a year remaining on his deal.
Bayern Munich have emerged as prime candidates to sign him and according to Fabrizio Romano, he has agreed ‘personal terms’ with the German giants ahead of a switch to the Allianz Arena. That just leaves the two clubs to agree a fee over Mane’s signature.
Reds urged to make Eriksen move
Liverpool cult hero Jose Enrique has urged the Reds to make a move for Christian Eriksen this summer as a short-term solution to their midfield conundrum. Taking to Instagram, the Spaniard said: “[Eriksen is] Another interesting player that could be our solution to our midfield. ”
He continued: “And no spending anything because he is a free agent. He is a short-term solution but then we can wait for Bellingham next season.”
Eriksen is of course available this summer having left Brentford but has reportedly been offered fresh terms by the Bees, as well as Manchester United, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.
