Mahmoud Charr: Tyson Fury has ‘promised’ a fight | “Call me and sign the contract” | Boxing news

Mahmoud Charr has urged Tyson Fury to forget about fighting Anthony Joshua in December and fight him instead.

A superfight between two British heavyweights is currently being negotiated.

“We’ve got to move fast because I’m concerned that Mahmoud Charr is going to come out saying he’s going to fight Tyson Fury on December 3rd, but again, all I’m being told right now is that they want to make the fight. If they do, we’re willing to give it a shot to make it happen,” Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said Thursday.

On Friday morning, Fury took to social media to accuse Joshua’s camp of taking too long to sign on the dotted line.

“He has a contract, I don’t know how long, and he won’t sign it,” declared the “King of the Gypsies.” “You don’t want a fight.

“However, I will fight on December 3rd if this sausage doesn’t sign this contract he doesn’t believe. [is going to]!”

Barry Jones believes it would not be good for the sport of boxing if Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua never had to fight each other in their careers

Charr: Fury promised to fight me!

Former WBA “regular” champion Charr insists Fury should not fight Joshua after AJ’s back-to-back losses at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk.

“First of all, if Fury fights AJ next, it’s not good for boxing. AJ is mentally broken and he needs to recover from two losses,” Charr said. Sky Sports.

“If Eddie Hearn agrees to this fight against Fury, then Eddie [will] must change his business. I think Fury will give AJ a bad knockout, [given] his mental position now.

“Everyone knows that Fury promised to fight me more than once. If he is a true Spartan, he must fight a true Superman. That is me.

“I’m coming off five wins [streak] and God gave me another chance to live. Everyone knows I came because of a stomach blow and two hip surgeries. Never forget, seven months later I became the first Arab heavyweight champion of the world.

“This story is the same as Fury, to not give up and fight for the legacy. I want Fury next. Fear not, Spartan, accept my challenge!”
